Title: Being Nikki

Author: Meg Cabot

Review: This book is the second book in the series by Meg Cabot. It is the sequel to Airhead. It is a novel. They are very interesting books and they have a lot of drama and twists in the plots. They are really good books and if you like Meg Cabot you would like them! But I recommend the books. But read the first book Airhead first so you understand whats happening. She is making another one and it has an insert for it in the book. I actually read Airhead last summer.

Title: Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel: The Sorceress

Author: Michael Scott

Review: The Sorceress is the third book in the series of the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. The first book is The Alchemyst and the second is The Magician. Twins Josh and Sophie get tangled up with myths and legends as they learn that they have powers of their own. Their goal is to learn all elemental magics and prevent the "dark elders" from taking over the world. What interested me about this series are the mythical creatures, heroes, and ancient gods. This would be perfect for readers who lovef ictional/fantasy stories surrounding myths. The story takes place in different places including: San Francisco, Paris, England, and others. There's also humor, especially in some of the characters; action is also included especially where magic is involved! I strongly suggest this book for any fantasy fan who loves magic and myths.

I found this book similar to: The Sorceress, including the other two books, reminds me of Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan and the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull. They are similar in the way that they all involved creatures that may otherwise be mythical or magical.

Title: Agnes Parker -- Keeping Cool in Middle School

Author: Kathleen O'Dell

Review: This book is good if you are into drama. This book is about Prejean and her best friend Agnes are going into middle school and they are worried what teacher they will have and how she looks. Have you ever felt that when it was the first day of school? So this story is about Prejean's parents who are arguing and there having a time out. Prejean's dad is moving to their fishing cabin and Prejean is worried that her parents are geting divorced and did I mention that Prejean is voting for class president and her friends are helping her. And that's as much I'm going to tell you. Hope you read it.

Review: I love this book! I thought it was very interesting and I learned a lot about Rob.This book tells about his life and how he got into acting. Title: Sleepaway Girls

Author: Jen Calonita

Review: I don't want to give too much away about the book, but here it goes. So the main character Sam Montgomery decides to CIT at camp because her best friend is spending almost all of her time with her new boyfriend. Sam has never even been to camp before and isn't sure what to expect. And to top it off, her mom and camp director have a thing for each other! When she arrives there, she meets Ashley, the camp director's daughter who gets whatever she wants all the time. Many of the people at camp start to befriend Sam and many of the counselors think Sam has true potential to be a great CIT, even Ashley's older sister Alexis. Ashley gets jealous of Sam. Things get tricky when some mishaps occur. To top it off, Sam meets two boys, Hunter and Cole who she likes both for different reasons. But Sam has the "Sleepaway Girls" she can turn to, her new friends from camp. What will happen to Sam, her rivalry with Ashley, Hunter, and Cole? You should read it to find out! :)

I found this book similar to: Not any in particular, but I would also recommend Jen Calonita's other books... Secrets of My Hollywood Life. It's a series of four.

Title: The Lightning Thief

Author: Rick Riordan

Review: This book is insanely awsome! If you haven't read this book you are missing out on a lot! The series has ended, but it is rumored that the author Rick Riordan is planning to make another series with the same characters only with a different conflict and plot. A brief intro about this book: A twelve year old boy by the name Percy Jackson (Perseus) is a strange boy who has ADHD and has dyslexia. One summer a lot of things happen. He finds out that he is a demigod which a mortal has a parent that is actually a god. In this case its ... (can't tell u it'll give away the book!) and his mother is "killed" by a minotaur and to top it off the greek gods are in a big fight and if someone doesn't stop them then the whole world is at stake! Will Percy Jackson find out what is happening to him and will he get his mom back, along with saving the world? To find out, you'll have to read it! PS: It is a series!

I found this book similar to: Another book this reminded me of was Alex Rider and the Keys to the Kingdom series. All three characters truly do not know thier true origin and all three of them have some save the world job stuff.

Title: The Luckiest Girl in the World

Author: Steven Levenkron

Review: This book was so good and interesting that I read it in two days. You'll never think of what will happen to Katie in the next chapter because she's always trying new things. Its also a book that mothers and daughters should read because in it you'll learn not to be pushed around and you'll end up talking about your problems to the people you love the most.

I found this book similar to: The book Perfect
